This looks like quite a job...Do you have thoughts on the Home Depot craze? We have also had to bring in professional help because the last person who owned our home fancied himself a do-it-yourselfer. My husband is handy because we have a cabin on Lake Champlain and it is not always easy to get someone for the small jobs but he knows when it comes to structure or electricity he will bring in the professionals.
